Introductory flying lesson with aerobatics in the Scottish Aviation Bulldog
Take flight in this iconic RAF training aircraft over the Cambridgeshire countryside. Once airborne your instructor will demonstrate the controls of the aircraft and invite you to try your hand at flying. During the flight you will have the option to have some aerobatic manoeuvres demonstrated to you so that you can see the true potential of this wonderful aircraft.

What to expect from your Bulldog flight with Classic Wings
This flight experience experience includes entry to the superb IWM Duxford, 30 minute flight with a fully qualified instructor, and the opportunity to take the controls yourself.
After a pre-flight briefing from your instructor and a walk round of the aircraft, it is time to climb into the cockpit and prepare for your flying lesson.
Taxy to the Hold where your instructor will effect the take off and climb into the air. During the flight he will demonstrate the controls then give you the chance to take the controls for yourself.
You will be piloting a Bulldog – awesome!

Flight dates are limited and take place approx 4 times per month.
Duration
The flights are in the minutes shown chock to chock (aircraft brakes off to brakes on)
Restrictions
Weight limit on this activity is strictly 17 stone (108kg). Participants must be able to climb up a couple of steps to enter the aircraft. There is no minimum or maximum age.
Spectator Information
*Please note that accompanying friends and family must enter the Imperial War museum in order to watch the flights, but will be entitled to 50% discount on the usual admission fee.

Weather Restrictions
All flights are weather dependent and therefore subject to suitable flying conditions. If a flight has to be cancelled it will be rebooked for an alternative date, which must be within 12 months of the cancellation date.
