Introductory flying lessons from £139 (Year round availability)
This flight makes a wonderful gift for the first-time pilot or just someone who’s dreamed of flying a light aircraft.
Trial Flying Lesson is the perfect introduction to the world of flying as your instructor talks you through the basic principles of flight and the effects of the controls.
You will then take to the air for a 30 or 60 minute flying lesson. Who knows, it could be the first step to gaining your Private Pilot’s Licence.

If you want to obtain your Private Pilots Licence and are interested in a course of flying lessons click here.
Your flying time counts towards a Private Pilot’s Licence so, who knows it could be the first step towards achieving this. Flights are carried out by a fully qualified and experienced instructor in a Cessna 152 dual controlled aircraft.
Clacton Flight Lesson Information
Available every day, all year round. Spectators are welcome and there is no charge. Hot and cold drinks available at the airfield. Local pubs and restaurants nearby.
Duxford Flight Lesson Information
Specific dates only. Please note spectators must enter the Imperial War Museum to watch the flight. There is a charge for this which is half the usual entrance fee. There is a restaurant and several cafes available on site.
Weather Restrictions
All flights are weather dependent and therefore subject to suitable flying conditions. If a flight has to be cancelled it will be rebooked for an alternative date, which must be within 12 months of the cancellation date.
Clothing Required
Wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes.
